This is how I felt about what you've said. Everyone has flaws, nobody's perfect. You may have your point of view, I have mine too. You can't have everyone to fit in to what you want them to be, life is about going with the flow. Maybe it was my fault at the start but I stated very clearly that though I hate to do this, I'll just work for once since you've been asking me to. I'm sure everyone hates to be forced, so what is this? And once you can't have it your way, you come and insult me. What about you? Step in my shoes and think, for once.

Being a person who has been in love, you should know having a partner and not seeing him for 5 days a week can almost killed you. I only have less than 2 days (sometimes 1 day) to meet him, weekends are totally precious to me. You can just put everything together and insult me in all directions, huh? I give up, I really give up. I see no point of quarreling with you. If I fought back, things will just get even worse. So I'll just shut up and let you say all you want, because after all it's YOUR point of view.

I don't live for others, I live for myself. Saying I will be nothing for whatever reason is very much offensive (so may I assume you had been nothing before since you think this way?). Well I guess it's time to grow up and grow out of this thinking. If you wish to end this friendship due to my bad character, go ahead, since I make your life so difficult nowadays, we should just live our own lives since you hate me this much huh?

P.S. I apologize to whoever that had read this piece of brag. Sorry I had to vent at somewhere.

This is one pretty cupcake! Loved the colour swirl which you can see through the paper liner.

Left: With many colour layerings, Right: 4 layerings. Every bite of heaven! This is too amazing, I'm in awe...! The food colours combination is so chic and fun, I wanna make one too! (use a white batter instead of those of butter cakes-you can't capture the colour in the cake like this one if your batter is in yellow)

Rainbow M&Ms hellyeahh! Great world city level 2 or 3 has one bakery shop selling this, you could mix and match them or you could buy those in colour combo package. BUT, they cost a bomb! :(

100grams for $6 if I didn't remember wrongly.

Pancake! Maybe Macdonald should sell this too! But I must say, not very appealing though, I think the colouring used is too much..

OMG we have rainbow pasta here! This is real, believe or not! It makes one wonders how it is made!

This is a birthday cake! I love love love the colours! You can tell the effort and time spent by the baker! The icing, colouring and cake is perfectly executed, brilliant idea for a birthday cake!

Another birthday cake! It has the same concept as the above long palette cake, surprise the birthday guy/girl! It's hard to tell what's inside with all the white frosting until you cut it!

Tempting for a bite! :D I shall attempt to make one for my friend's birthday!

We just got to know that the coming practical exam for FOB we'll be making 3 items which include soft rolls, pandan chiffon cake and cream puffs + elcair + pastry cream! Being a novice in baking, this is insanity. I've never baked so many things in one day, let it be in 5 hours! Moreover without Valentina as my partner, I really have no idea how this can be completed! Oh, the markers will be other mentors! Nooo I want Chef Lynn! So stressed out! Oh boy oh boy....

He's back! Oh like after a million years, he has finally returned with lesser flesh! Boyfriend slimmed down a lot (look like a monkey haha!) at Tekong, which means I'll look fatter standing beside him. =.=

Coming Monday is his birthday, thus I celebrated with him just now since he has to go back to camp that day. We went to Billy Bombers for dinner, he had a huge appetite, and yes I'm treating him so my wallet had a humongous hole. He ordered his usual salad, Buffalo wings(they're oh-so-good!), Lamb Shank as always and I ordered my Fish and Fries. Since I forgot to take photos, I shall get some images from the internet and make you drool in your seat :D

Never dying love for Buffalo Wings(comes in 2 different sauces)! Eat them while they're hot and crispy!

His Lamb Shank, the smell of the lamb meat is reduced, meat is quite tender, but I find Secret Recipe has better Lamb Shank.

Ole Fish and Fries, overall is quite good, the fries are cut from potatoes manually! You can tell by looking at the odd shapes.

The dinner cost a bomb (the Bombers)! My wallet literally exploded! Haha maybe I'm kinda poor now, couldn't afford a $70 bill. He said he was gonna pay $20 but he didn't zzz.. I totally got scammed, thanks huh.

Now come to his present. I bought him a cheapo watch with fanciful lights and a carebear! How girly is that! I really have no idea what to buy for someone who has everything, yea EVERYTHING BRANDED! AND PICKY! So yup, got him some kiddish stuff hehehe but he seems to like the watch because you can change the colour of the light. Good thing he didn't wish for anything, so more money for my shopping spree tsk.

Ok sleep time, tired.

Freelance

Just when I need money, my previous boss introduced me to my new boss for a freelance job. I don't know how to thank him personally, he's such a nice person. :)

As a freelancer, with computer skills learnt from my previous study and picked up while working in companies, my job is to visualize interior designed spaces. It's an easy job and easy money as well! Wee so happy as I'm able to handle the workload while studying my baking course.

Sigh but why does it have to be on test week, don't even have time to study! Oh well this is life, a sucky one, face it.

This is the render(board room) I did painstakingly with numerous changes while revising for my tests.

From design to baking

This is a major, major, MAJOR change in my life.

Design was everything to me back then, and I sucked in both cooking and baking as far as I could remember. Screwing up BBQ foods last year that everyone still remembers now ( I made salty barbecued prawns, the thing is: I have a motive of causing my friends to die of kidney failure, too bad it all went to the bin, darn). People only remember others' mistakes, they just leave the good points in their subconscious mind, deep beneath every thing else. Hate to be reminded of that incident. >:(

Never have I thought of being anywhere near to making food, up until now. It felt so good when you get praises from family and friends! Perhaps I have been going through criticism for the past three years in design course, that could be why. But I've never regret my design studies, the lecturers have taught me well, enabling me to learn from my mistakes through critique sessions and improve from there. I believe criticism is also crucial in the baking line to improve our skills.

Oh and some photos of fruit tarts I've made last Monday that I would like to show off.. I mean show.

I must say, I'm quite proud of the products though the crusts were a little burnt, but my friends loved it! Finally something that's homemade turns out to be nice! Nevertheless, there's bound to be room for improvement.

Ok time to study now. Haven't been taking any form of tests nor exams for the past three years, feels weird to be studying again. Hmm..

P.S. I'm worried sick for boyfriend, can't wait to see him again when he books out!

It's been a long time since I've blog about my life. Sad to say, nobody really visits my blog. So anyway for a few souls are there, I'm back to blogging for my English homework haha. There may be all posts about baking, baked products and yes, more baking stuffs, haa see how my life goes.

In 5 days time, boyfriend's gonna leave for Tekong Tekan Training. 2 weeks without him! :(

Because of NS (curse it!!), I've been acting strangely the past 1 month, he felt it too haha it was a weird moment for us. I've learnt to be more independent and understanding to be able to sustain a mature relationship as time goes by. Time isn't a factor, it's how strong the love is, I always remind myself this.

Lavender flower may not look as pretty as a rose or a daisy, but I love how nature presents its functions to us.

Bought the sweet today, how thoughtful of them to add the flowers in every candy, loved it. (:

But nothing beats the lavender ice cream I've tried, the lightly scented icy purple soft gelato just melts in your mouth instantly, double thumbs up for that.

Hi all SP peeps visiting this pathetic blog once in a while, here's some good news in case you do not know: SPGG is the new Moberly (or even better)

Due to previous students that misused this space, now there is an entrance fee of $3. But hey, it's worth it I tell you! That is if you go at 10am, as it opens from 10am to 5pm SHARP. What's inside you may ask? This slice of paradise includes swimming pool, bowling alley, pool room, arcade, casino (21 and above I think), and best of all: JACUZZI AND SAUNA!! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT! YOU'RE IN SCHOOL WITHOUT REALIZING THAT WHEN YOU'RE IN THERE!

The jacuzzi come in three different type: Bubbling one, HOT (damn shiok) and Cold which will seriously numb all your senses and leaves you shivering like crazy, went in halfway and cannot stand it. OH THE HOT ONE IS SUPER DUPER RELAXING! Nearly fell asleep inside. The bubbling one is not bad but smells funny though.

After enough soaking, it's time to literally dry yourself in the awesome oven of 38 degrees. Best way to enjoy it? Lie down and reach out your sexy legs high up! Your face won't be able to tahan the heat when you're sitting upright. We stayed in there for nearly half an hour and Apple didn't sweat a bit! Rachel and I was sweating and dripping our precious body liquid all over the wooden bench and floor. We were craving for water when we came out, and a little dizzy. Note that you cannot stay in there for more than half an hour, otherwise... you might dehydrate, faint and dry up like a salted fish in the sun.

Oh and towels, soap and shampoo are provided! Holy cow what could be better than this! You'll forget you're in school, serious.

It's been a rather long period since I last saw you, well it felt good to see you guys again today. Reminded me of the past few years' gatherings, oh we had so much fun didn't we? Maybe we should have a few more in the coming months before everyone goes their separate ways. Don't you just love parties, especially when there are 'clowns' involved, what's more, they are FOC. You will be the one laughing your ass off at them, that signature smile, telling me: that is one entertained polar bear. At times, I did enjoy watching you being bullied by your best kakis (not trying to be evil), well that's how friends clique right? Like bringing your brand new Lacoste shoes to the vivo kids' pool, placing it on the surface of the water (they could float!) which scared the hell out of you! Your face was totally chua sai, lol. You may not remember such minor things but these moments, accumulating bit by bit, truly define who you are.

Mad about puff

This is the 3rd attempt baking cream puff, I had two recipes for reference, Let's get wokking and the other I can't remember where I got it from. Anyway this is my version of the cream puff recipe:

2 ½ tbsp unsalted butter
2 tsp sugar
½ cup water
½ cup plain flour
1 ½ eggs - 2 eggs
For custard cream filling: 2 tbsp flour, ½ cup sugar, 1 cup milk, 2 egg yolks, ½ tbsp melted butter
*powdered sugar

PREPARATION:

Preheat the oven to 190 degrees. Beat eggs in a bowl. Put butter, sugar, and water in a pan and bring to a boil. Add flour in the butter mixture and stir quickly. Stop the heat and cool it a little, add eggs slowly in the mixture and mix well with electric beater until glossy.

Put the dough in a plastic bag (I used ziplock bag) to squeeze out as small mounds. The size of my cream puffs are rougly 6cm, I was able to make 12 mounds. But you can go bigger like the ones beard papa made.

Bake them in at 230 degrees until the tips were golden brown (about 10 minutes) then lowered the heat to 180 until the rest of the puffs became a light golden (about 10 minutes). Open the lid of the oven slightly and bake for another 10 minutes. (If you bake it without opening the lid, you'll have chao da puffs instead) Cool the puffs and cut them in halves horizontally.

Make custard cream as follows. Mix egg yolks and sugar in a pan. Add sifted flour in the pan and mix well. Add warm milk in the pan gradually. Place the pan on low heat and stir the mixture constantly until thickened. Stop the heat and add melted butter and stir well. Refrigerate the custard cream.

Fill the bottom halves of puffs with custard cream and place the top halves. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.

I prefer the cream they used in beard papa's, those are oh-so-yummy! Gotta search for their recipe! Sadly, I ran out of milk (only managed to fill 4/5 of the cup), thus my cream was a little too sweet and thick.

The left one is batch 1, it's quite moist n too soft, don't like it. Setting the heat to 120 degrees was a big big mistake, all the puffs deflated! On the right we have mini beard papa! Yay was quite a success for the second batch, but it only consist of 3 mounds! Ran out of dough.. zzz. It's crunchy and fluffy at the same time, but a little burnt on the top.

Are you sweating even in the night nowadays? Are you craving for air-conditioned areas wherever you go? If you are, do your part in saving this planet called Earth. Although media seemed to have an influential factor on its audience, but when it comes to contributing to this planet, not many give a shit about it.

Perhaps it's the society we are living in, ever so protected by the government, no major natural disasters as well, we are not aware (and couldn't care less) of the effects of global warming that is in fact taking place all around the world. So people just full blast their air cons- rain or shine, throw whatever is useless to them down the rubbish bin, blah blah blah.

You might think I'm an eco-friendly freak, or just another big talker, but I wouldn't want to see Earth dies out in less than a century's time, it's such a pity, after a few billion years of evolutions that took place, can you bear to let your home, your planet, being destroyed just for the luxury lives of us, humans?

Been busy with project, back to no life days yet again. Ok, nothing's gonna screw up this time (since it's group work), yeah we'll win this alright. :)

That's all I've gotta say to summarize my three "fruitful" weeks since I departed from attachment.

Regret, that is one word that'd been revolving around me, for now. I admit, I'm a lazy person. Oh, another word, without much saying. I regretted because I'm lazy, I regretted because I had second thoughts. Not that I wasn't good enough.

Laziness brought catastrophe, as well as shame to my life. I thought I weren't mind those judging eyes but I guessed I was wrong. I'm always being compared to, somehow as the abominable one most of the time. That's enough. I have to go further, much more than my expectations in life. Why do I give up half way as easily as spending money? Where is the energy to go on, to strive? I missed the previous me.

It's like a 2.4km race around the track, always will I be the first few. Towards the last lap, the last 100m, when all your energy is drained, and when your thighs muscles believed that they have reached their limits. Your mind tells you NO! There you go, as you start to accelerate faster than anything else, as if the brain has numbed all the pain that you have endured for the past 10 minutes. As soon as you know, your back now faces the line.

This is what I (perhaps everyone else) want in life. At the end of the day you smile at your grades, your achievements. People are proud of you, they expect more from you. It's not just a 'pass' expectation anymore. Have you ever felt pressurized when all your siblings and even cousins are so much better of? Ever felt dumb when you're around them? I did. They are people with scholarships and degrees. Me? Ds and Fs. And their parents, only do they talk to 'smart' people. Me? I talk to my brother's iPhone.

What about my parents, you may ask. My mum once told me, " I don't expect much from you." These few words, may just be one sentence to you and nothing else. But to me, they meant a lot. Each word kind of turned themselves into knives. Stunned by her words, I went silent. And my dad, I guessed he only wants me to return home early.

No more of these nonsense, kaili. Life doesn't give a second chance, not to you.

I never thought it would be the last time saying '新年快乐' to them. As Chinese New Year is around the corner, memories start to surface from my subconscious mind. I couldn't stop thinking about the reunion dinner with them, always filling that tiny kitchen with laughter.

But as she goes, it got quiet. We all missed her distinctive laugh, I could tell.

This year, there will be one more chair removed from the dining table. The atmosphere no longer be the same.

It would be the first time not greeting him this chinese new year face to face.

Today, I nearly forgot he wasn't around anymore. For that instant, it was hard to control my emotions.

School works have been pulling me away from who I am, how could I possibly forget such things?

Urgh..

The time now is 4.14am. Have been sleeping at horrible timings every single day ever since school started. This explains why my cough won't go away. Nonetheless, I've got good news! Interview for my ITP went well, and I've got the job! WEEEEE~ The person said, "So I'll see you on the 23rd of Feb har?" He's such a nice guy.

Printed my A5 size coffee table book for the interview for $45!! Whatthehellla.. Queenstown printing shops are scammers. Swear that I won't go back there ever again.

Cut my fringe, I supposed it made my hair look thicker a bit? :/

Can't wait for CNY! ANG PAOS! That's what we youngsters are looking forward too, am i so darn right? Haa! But this year's would be lesser due to the financial crisis around the world. Sigh.

Went shopping with YW and WB, all the way to AMK hub. Bought 1 top. ZZZ

Then YW suggested we should go Punggol Park for a stroll, well it's quite a stunning place to go with your lover, or simply someone who knows how to play a guitar and sings (well). Lovely place. Before we go in our separate ways, went to a playground near YW's house where there is a dragon and a hippo. Felt like a monkey there. Heehee

P.S. My cat's name was Simba (name of lion king LOL)!! And she's super old, 12 years old! Can you believe it? Few days back, 3 ANG MOHS cycled passed my house while my dad just came home and I was carrying her to greet him and they stopped and one of them said, "That's our cat!" My dad hugged her away from me as if he was gonna return them! (I went to aside and drew circles..) But luckily they said we could keep her and told us about her past.

Exhaled a long breath. They were the ones that moved out 2 years ago, and Meow Meow somehow found us. :D:D:D

I like planning events and such, but with indecisive friends who always like changing of plans or simply oppose what have been decided for them since they can't make up their minds, what I love became things I hate to do most. It always pisses me off every single time at every single event planned. Things we do for you guys... and almost none of you said a single thank you in return. I doubt I'm gonna be involve in organising this kind of event again.

OH NO!!

Holidays are over soon, just when I was having so much fun, sob..
So much things happened, good ones of course! Went to chalet organized by cranky chuikiang :), karaoke with poly friends for like, 4 times?? O and played badminton and basketball (sometimes both in a day) umpteen times, gosh, being too sporty is transforming me into a guy! D=

Anyway I'm so happy this holiday and my money are well spent! =/

Looking forward for the next holi! I'm so gonna organize a trip to palau ubin!

This few days have been working in Hector's uncle's director's company. Lol long relation eh.. It's admin work whereby the 4 of us have to type all 15000 names!! 5 cents for a name, hold up before you say it's a freaking good job.
the "name" includes spouse name, ICs, Phone numberS, and Address.
WTF! It's impossible to finish one "name" in 1 min la.
So on average, you're able to earn about $2.50 per HOUR.
HOLY COW! IT'S FKING LESS THAN MACDONALD'S PAY!

Went to school for a 2 hours lesson lectured by victor,

I almost dozed off listening to his monotone voice.
After that went to find boon and gang and we happily(cuz got chio bu on the mrt.. =.=) went to Bras Basah to buy materials for our final model before sending darn lappy for repair.

So, each of us got ourselves huge boards that were hard to carry( han na, short hands la!) and boon and I went back to school while the other two went home.

While on the train back to SP, we saw these school boys( Tanglin special school, i suppose). They talked aloud and did funny stuffs that 2 Malays sitting opposite me were talking in Malay and laughing at them. They made me giggled along with them..! As you know, it's kinda hard for me to stop the giggling or not to laugh!
Orh man! I felt guilty laughing at the boys.

Didnt repair lappy as I returned to school late so went vball straight away.
Damn it, there isn't any soccer training due to the rain! The boots heavy nia.. =x

My life is getting boring day by day.
Everyday stuck with work, work and still work!
Man, I'm growing up and not loving it!

I miss my childhood(is sec school considered?), a lot a lot a lot.

I did a stupid thing yesterday.

I spilled my oily Laksa soup onto my lappy's keyboard!
I have to trouble my calm but annoyed brother to fix the mess- he had to remove the keys to clean the interior of the keyboard.
yucks, some residue were unable to remove.

now it still smelled like Laksa..

Slept at 5 and woke up in a shock at 7.30.
Let's see, what unfortunate things happened to me this morning:
-printer no ink
-dad unwilling fetched me to school, and cursed other drivers in front of her daughter, and he blamed me.
-late, as usual.

But! Im still happy! Serene said I have a sense of choosing pictures, yay!
And my idea inspiration is quite unique..!

WENT TO MAYDAY'S CONCERT YTD!

Man, they rocks!!

They played game with us eg. the LOVE game!

I HATE AUTOCAD!!

Argh! my plan drawing is in a total mess!!
our A3 plan wasnt accurate so e lecturers printed out for us.. DARN!! now then tell us...
all my scales are off!! especially the damn circle thingy! ROAR!!!
super frustrated.. i give up...!! T^T

ytd finally i could stay overnight at nald's hse! YES!
but my parents didnt allow me to at 1st.. :(
so i came up wif a very smart idea(or rather, e dumbest one..)!
i went to slp...! haha!
n i woke up at 4 plus for no reason.. i had 10 plus over missed calls!
darn, i made my parents worried sick for me.. so bad!

den all of a sudden, lobby started to blabber something which i dont understand..!
den draggie woke up cuz it was too cold i guess..

i missed sec sch sooo much, i cant bear to leave that place which had filled with really precious memories.. all my frens, caring teachers n staffs..

still remembered in sec 1 n 2, we loved to play catching ard e sch wif cp, clement they all..!

im a lonely soul...

i can never get used to it, even if it last for a year.

it seems to me like we are drifting apart, all of us..
no one misses anyone... everybody hav their own frens, except for me.

today was an ultra lonely day...
i became so emo that i wanted to cry out!
was holding back my tears e whole afternoon..
none of my frens wanted to go out wif me, it was really saddening n heart-breaking...
i felt i was being neglected, that im not so important to them..

so i went home after the park mall thingy..
couldnt stand the loneliness..
awe.... at e moment i saw my that adorable cat slping on e sofa,
all my sadness were gone~!
she was hugging her legs while slping! sooooo cute~!
haha..! :D

reached home n used comp as usual..
weeee~ n mom came back wif cream puffs!
yumm!
we sat down n makan snacks while watching tv! shyt so fattening! XP

draggie called me in the evening n wanted to come my hse to take smth, n watch tv!

so she came...

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL GREAT MOMS!

went out for lunch wif my family to celebrate mother's day!
yay so full now!

weee sew a hp accessory for my mom! it's an ice cream!
lol dunno y i wanted to sew that badly..
my mom tot it was some dirty stuff, WTH!?! LOL!
awe man, spent 2 hrs sewing that! and e time i went to bed it was 7 plus 8 IN THE MORNING! haha!

ytd went out wif weibei, yuting, elgene n henghui for late night movie!
elgene drove us to bugis to buy his mom's present n then to PS for movie.
we decided to watch Spider-man 3 at 12.50am!
cuz weibei wanted to watch wif us after her work(which ended at 12am)..
we had 3 hrs of free time b4 e movie so we went to kopitiam for dinner n to Mr bean's cafe opposite Paradiz centre.
e place was packed wif ppl n was really noisy..!
ordered drinks n snacks n started doing some lame stuffs eg. msging each other when we're jus right beside of one another.. lol
we laughed out so loud that many ppl stared at us.. wooo scary~ :S

we went back to PS to meet up wif weibei n watched movie.
the movie ended at 3.30! super late!
but luckily elgene drove us back..
while on the way to yuting's hse, elgene knocked down a cat!!
omg we could hear the bone crushing sound from beneath the car!
i didnt saw e incident as i was resting my eyes.. phew!!
sobs........ T^T
elgene was so guilty! haha..

reached home at 4 plus..!
i had lots of fun ytd!!
